What’s Happening on the Coast?!

One of our favorite shops here in town is the Four-Eyed Frog bookstore located in Cypress Village. Brothers Joel and Jeremy Crockett (from a famous singing family, btw!) have a remarkable place for browsing, discussing, meeting friends, and buying great books and other literanalia (I may have made that last word up…). One of the best things about Four-Eyed Frog is the steady stream of interesting events held at the store or sponsored by them.  I encourage a peek at their site for the latest–see our links on the sidebar. But here’s a tease:

WIN A PAIR OF TEENAGERS!

Horicon School is auctioning off six 8th-grade students
You help the six Horicon students who are graduating into high school. And they help you! All six will be auctioned in pairs of two to the highest bidders. The winners get two students for 3 hours of hard work. The students get a meaningful graduation and a 2-day trip to Asilomar on the Monterey Peninsula.

The Four-Eyed Frog is a great place for browsing and finding out about many of the unique features of the Gualala area. One my every visit to Gualala I make an effort to stop in and see what is new with Joel, Jeremy and the “Frog”.
